Our team is led by our hands on Managing Director, a mechanical engineer from IIT, Kanpur, who has extensively worked and developed processes & designs for shock absorption packaging and thermal engineering of Buildings.
Expanded polystyrene (EPS) is the most economical and environment friendly insulation material which saves more than 400 times the energy used for insulating , including energy required to manufacture and transport it or for protection against shock absorption of expensive items during transport and handling. It does not use any HCFC or CFC (Ozone depleting) gases to manufacture. Instead it uses "Pentane" a hydrocarbon to expand it and even this leaves the finished product within 72 hours of manufacturing. Thus there is zero probability of any harm at consumer end in any way. It has a major advantage of being very easily molded or cut into a myriad shapes and sizes very economically. This closed cell, rigid , cellular plastic has air packed inside its cells giving it unique thermal insulation and shock absorption properties. Since both these properties are assessable empirically, they can be used to design the product with suitable parameters like thermal conductivity, heat resistance and shock absorption ,etc. The aluminium alloy based molds make one time investments in various shapes required, quite economical and quick to develop.
