Strength of an ICF building

Structural strength, sound proof and heat insulation - all these unique properties of an ICF structure comes from the two basic materials of the ICF walls. 1. 50 mm continuous insulating panels on both sides 2. 150mm monolithic & load bearing concrete walls with reinforcement bars connecting the foundation-wall-roof elements. The insulation keeps out heat and noise, any shocks from a sudden damaging impact (be it fire, seismic tremors, debris flying in high speed cyclonic winds, flash floods, landslides etc), to ensure comfort and safety. Result - no weathering. thermal stress or structural weakness of the thermal mass of the concrete.
